Avantel Limited has received a purchase order worth INR 28.4 million, inclusive of taxes, from Chowgule and Company Private Limited for the supply of satellite communication (Satcom) products. The order, disclosed to the stock exchanges on August 29, 2025, includes both manufacturing and service elements and carries a 24-month warranty. Execution is scheduled to be completed by March 15, 2026.
The order is categorised as a domestic transaction and does not involve any promoter group or related party. According to the company, the disclosure was made in compliance with SEBI’s transparency requirements.
Avantel has secured several other contracts in recent months. These include an order worth INR 33.6 million from the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) for Satcom waveform development and an INR 101.1 million order from Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) for Satcom equipment.
The company operates in the defence and satellite communication sectors and is engaged in the development of RF microwave subsystems, software-defined radios, and integrated communication and radar systems for aerospace and defence applications.
