The National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Singapore Semiconductor Industry Association (SSIA) during SemiconIndia 2025 in New Delhi. The agreement covers areas including semiconductor skills development, industry–academia collaboration, and capacity building in semiconductor technologies.
According to NIELIT, the partnership combines Singapore’s expertise with its nationwide training network to support workforce development in the semiconductor sector. The initiative is aligned with the India Semiconductor Mission.
NIELIT operates under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology and provides training, capacity building, and services in electronics and information technology across India.
