Resolux Group, a Denmark-based company known for supplying component solutions and services to the global wind energy industry, has inaugurated a new facility in Chennai to support its expanding operations in India. The site will enable improved warehousing, office functions, and coordination with customers and suppliers in the region, marking a key milestone in the company’s ongoing international growth.
The opening ceremony brought together leadership from across the organization, along with special guest Peter Winther-Schmidt, Consul General of Denmark in Chennai.
The company has steadily built its presence in India over the past three years, with a local team now exceeding 40 employees. Leaders highlighted that the new facility will enhance service delivery and strengthen proximity to industry partners in the country.
Mads-Ole Astrupgaard, CEO of Resolux Group, emphasized the contribution of the India team and the importance of collaboration across its global footprint in driving sustainable growth.
Members of the senior management team — including Karin Damsgaard, Thomas Kaare Jensen, Klaus Nørregaard Madsen, Brian Klaster, and Mette Vett — joined employees and partners at the inauguration. Leadership reiterated their focus on talent development, operational capabilities, and long-term engagement in India.
Jagadeesh Ulaganathan, Country Manager for India, acknowledged the support of customers, suppliers, and the global leadership as instrumental in scaling operations from their early beginnings to today’s milestone.
With the Chennai facility becoming operational, Resolux Group aims to further strengthen its service, integration, and responsiveness within the Indian market, while continuing to support global renewable energy growth through its international network.
Established in 1995, the company operates out of Denmark and maintains sales and production offices in Brazil, the United States, China, Belgium, South Korea, and Turkey, supporting customers across international renewable energy hubs. The company provides complete turbine tower and nacelle internals, with a focus on sustainability and energy-efficient solutions that align with the wind sector’s performance and reliability needs. In November 2021, Resolux Group became part of the Dallas-based Gexpro Services, expanding its role within the global renewable energy supply chain and reinforcing its ability to serve large-scale wind customers.
