Dynamatic Technologies Limited, a Bengaluru-based manufacturer of precision-engineered aerospace and industrial components, has been appointed as the exclusive partner in the consortium formed by Larsen & Toubro Limited (L&T) and Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) for India’s fifth-generation fighter aircraft programme. The collaboration aims to strengthen the domestic manufacturing ecosystem for advanced defence aviation systems and support the production of the Advanced Medium Combat Aircraft (AMCA).
“Adding Dynamatic Technologies as an exclusive partner to this consortium brings unmatched agility and precision to our mission,” said Arun Ramchandani, Senior Vice President and Head of L&T Precision Engineering and Systems. “This partnership is as much about building a next-generation fighter jet as it is about redefining the Indian aerospace industrial ecosystem,” he said.
According to a press release issued by Dynamatic Technologies Limited on 4 November 2025, the partnership combines the company’s expertise in complex aerostructures and subsystem manufacturing with L&T’s engineering capabilities and BEL’s specialisation in electronic systems. The consortium’s objective is to enhance localised production and create an integrated industrial base for advanced aerospace technology in India.
“We have been at the forefront of building supersonic aircraft structures for the past three decades,” said Udayant Malhoutra, Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Dynamatic Technologies Limited. “Our pioneering legacy, combined with the advanced engineering expertise of Larsen & Toubro, brings together a unique partnership with the capabilities required to deliver India’s fifth-generation fighter aircraft,” he said.
The AMCA project is a national defence initiative led by the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) and Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL), with private sector participation to expand India’s manufacturing capacity in high-end aerospace systems. The involvement of companies such as L&T, BEL and Dynamatic Technologies is expected to enhance supply chain resilience and encourage indigenous production of critical components.
Dynamatic Technologies Limited designs and manufactures high-precision components and systems for aerospace, hydraulics, metallurgy and security applications. The company operates advanced design and manufacturing centres in India and Europe, serving customers across six continents.
