Eaton announced the appointment of Binod Muni as Managing Director of its Electrical business in India, effective 1 January 2026. He succeeds Syed Sajjadh Ali, who retired on 31 December 2025 after a 17-year tenure with the company.
Muni will be responsible for leading the company’s Electrical business strategy in India, with responsibilities spanning market expansion, product and technology localisation, value engineering, operational efficiency, and supply chain resilience. He will also oversee initiatives aimed at strengthening organisational capability and workforce engagement.
Muni brings more than 27 years of experience across sales, business development, and finance. He joined Eaton in August 2024 as Country Head – Sales and Marketing. Prior to joining the company, he held leadership roles at multinational organisations including Saint-Gobain, Carrefour, and Schneider Electric.

Syed Sajjadh Ali retired from Eaton on 31 December 2025. During his tenure, the company expanded its Electrical business footprint in India, strengthening local manufacturing and engineering capabilities and deepening its presence across industrial, commercial, and infrastructure segments.
Eaton has operated in India for more than two decades and employs over 6,300 people across its innovation centre, manufacturing facilities, and commercial offices. The company continues to invest in domestic capabilities, supporting local manufacturing and technology development across electrical systems, mobility, aerospace, and digital technologies.
