Simplex Castings Limited has received an order from Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) in Varanasi for the supply of fabricated and machined assemblies for an 803 horsepower (HP) mill. The order has a total value of INR 72.57 million and relates to components used in the power and heavy engineering sector.
The order includes the supply of Mill Side and Liner Assembly for the 803 HP mill, Separator Body Assembly for the 803 HP mill, and Separator Top fabricated and machined items. These components will be manufactured according to BHEL drawings and specifications.
The purchase order comprises 10 units of each component, with the total purchase order value stated as INR 72,572,500. The company said the order strengthens its association with BHEL in supplying components for power sector equipment.

Simplex also said it is in advanced discussions with several prospective customers in domestic and international markets, some of whom have conducted on-site visits to the company’s manufacturing facilities in Chhattisgarh. The company said these engagements have the potential to translate into order inflows in the near to medium term.
Simplex Castings Limited is a precision metallurgy company that operates manufacturing facilities including a cast iron foundry and a heavy engineering and fabrication plant, supported by machining infrastructure and a central machine shop equipped with CNC machines.
