Godrej Enterprises Group’s (GEG) Tooling business has secured three new patents covering smart die casting and automation in railway manufacturing. The company said these innovations are aimed at improving productivity in die casting and streamlining manufacturing processes in the railway sector.
With the addition of these patents, GEG now holds 122 patents, which are intended to address industrial challenges by introducing automated and efficient solutions for core manufacturing processes, and reduce reliance on manual processes.
“These patents reflect our commitment to addressing real-world industrial challenges, whether by enhancing die-casting productivity or enabling smarter, safer manufacturing in the railway sector. By driving innovation in core manufacturing processes, these solutions directly support India’s goals of industrial modernization, improved safety standards, and global competitiveness,” said Pankaj Abhyankar, Business Head, Tooling business of Godrej Enterprises Group.
