TVS Industrial & Logistics Parks (TVS ILP) has announced the acquisition of 20 acres of land in Pithampur Sector 7 from the Madhya Pradesh Industrial Development Corporation (MPIDC). The company plans to invest Rs 200 crore in the construction of a logistics park aimed at meeting growing demand for warehousing space in the region.

The proposed facility will be located approximately 25 kilometers from Indore, with direct access to the Indore-Ahmedabad Highway (NH-47). According to the company, the logistics park will help improve supply chain efficiency for businesses in and around Indore, a city recognized for its industrial, automobile, and textile sectors.

TVS ILP’s investment is also expected to create more than 1,000 jobs in the area. The facility will focus on providing high-quality, Grade-A warehousing space, with potential clients in sectors such as retail, e-commerce, and fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG). The company has indicated that the logistics park will incorporate modern technology and sustainability measures to optimize warehousing and distribution processes.

Ramnath Subramaniam, CEO of TVS ILP, stated that the project’s location in Madhya Pradesh positions the state to grow as a logistics hub due to its central location and connectivity to various parts of India.

This expansion into Indore is part of TVS ILP’s broader strategy to meet the demand for logistics infrastructure in Tier 2 and Tier 3 markets across the country. The company aims to capitalize on the increasing need for organized and efficient logistics solutions in these areas.
