TVS Motor Company reported sales of over 4.7 million two-wheelers and three-wheelers and revenue of INR 362.51 billion for the financial year 2024-25, reflecting a 14% growth compared to INR 317.76 billion in 2023-24. The company’s operating EBITDA margin for the year improved by 120 basis points to 12.3%, while profit before tax (PBT) rose by 31% to INR 36.29 billion. Profit after tax (PAT) for the year reached INR 27.11 billion, up from INR 20.83 billion in the previous year.
For the fourth quarter ended March 2025, TVS Motor recorded revenue from operations of INR 95.50 billion, marking a 17% increase over INR 81.69 billion in the corresponding quarter of the previous year. The operating EBITDA for Q4 was INR 1,333 crore, compared to INR 9.26 billion in Q4 2023-24. PBT for the quarter stood at INR 11.12 billion , up from INR 6.72 billion in the previous year.
The company’s Q4 operating EBITDA margin was 14.0%. Excluding the impact of the Production Linked Incentive (PLI) benefits recognized during the quarter, the EBITDA margin would have been 12.5%, compared to 11.3% in Q4 of the previous year.
In terms of manufacturing and sales performance for the fiscal year 2024-25, TVS Motor sold 4.744 million two- and three-wheelers, a 13% increase from 4.191 million units in 2023-24. Motorcycle sales rose by 10% to 2.195 million units, while scooter sales grew by 21% to 1.904 million units. Electric vehicle sales increased by 44%, reaching 279,000 units compared to 194,000 units the previous year. Three-wheeler sales declined slightly to 135,000 units from 146,000 units.
During the fourth quarter, overall two-wheeler and three-wheeler sales, including exports, grew by 14% to 1.216 million units, compared to 1.063 million units in Q4 2023-24. Motorcycle sales for the quarter grew by 10% to 564,000 units, and scooter sales rose by 27% to 502,000 units. Electric vehicle sales increased by 54% to 76,000 units, and three-wheeler sales rose by 21% to 37,000 units during the same period.
