Airox Nigen has established a 600 MW solar module manufacturing facility in Rohnat, Haryana, as part of its 2 GW renewable energy project. The plant, situated on a 17-acre renewable energy park, represents the initial phase of an investment of ₹800 crore in renewable energy initiatives.

The facility is designed to produce photovoltaic (PV) modules used in solar energy systems, with production expected to commence within five months. These modules, essential for converting sunlight into electricity, will cater to both domestic and international markets.

Airox Nigen stated that the facility will serve as a base for expanding production capacity to 2 GW in the future. This aligns with India’s target of achieving 500 GW of non-fossil fuel energy capacity by 2030.
