Ador Powertron Limited has inaugurated a new facility in Pune dedicated to producing power electronics for the green hydrogen industry. The facility, named Yonder H2, has an annual production capacity of 500 MW and is designed to cater to the needs of electrolyzer manufacturers globally.
The launch event was attended by Philip Green, Australia’s High Commissioner to India, and Paul Murphy, Australia’s Consul General to Western India. The visit underscored ongoing collaborations between India and Australia in the energy transition sector.
The Yonder H2 facility focuses on advanced technologies, including energy-efficient IGBT technology and traditional SCR technology. The company highlighted the facility’s role in supporting the green hydrogen industry’s infrastructure development.
Ravin Mirchandani, Chairperson of Ador Powertron, hosted the event, which also included a tour of the company’s broader initiatives, such as EV charging solutions and traffic enforcement technologies.
Ador Powertron focuses on developing innovative solutions in pollution control and road safety management, aiming to address industry challenges and support a sustainable future through technological advancements.
