TAV Systems has launched the ScramBike, an electric bicycle designed in Australia and manufactured in India. The company states that the ScramBike incorporates its in-house mid-drive technology and is aimed at urban commuters seeking an electric mobility solution.
The launch event took place at the Australian High Commission in New Delhi and was attended by South Australia’s Minister for Trade & Investment, Joe Szakacs, and Australian High Commissioner Philip Green.
According to Philip Green, the electric bicycle aligns with India’s efforts to reduce carbon emissions. Dalip Sabharwal, Bicycle Mayor of New Delhi, highlighted the potential for electric bicycles to encourage a transition away from fuel-based transportation.
TAV Systems acknowledged contributions from various partners, including Kamran Khan, Priya Pankaj, the Austrade team, and Richa Jain Kallra, in organizing the event.
