Taural India has entered into a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Maharashtra government to expand its manufacturing operations at Supa, Ahilya Nagar. The agreement, signed during the World Economic Forum 2025 in Davos, involves an investment of Rs. 500 crore.

The new facility in Supa will be significantly larger than the company’s existing 300,000 sq. ft. plant in Pune. The expansion will increase capacity to meet growing demand across sectors such as energy, defense, aerospace, marine, railways, and healthcare.

The Supa plant is expected to generate over 1,200 jobs and contribute to the industrial development of Ahilya Nagar. According to Taural India, the project aligns with the broader objective of reducing import dependency and boosting domestic production in critical sectors.

Bharat Gite, managing director and CEO of Taural India, noted that the expansion reflects the company’s goal of decentralizing industries and fostering development in Tier II and Tier III regions.

Established in 2016 as a joint venture with the Thoni Alutec group, Taural India provides turnkey aluminium solutions for complex industrial requirements. The company focuses on manufacturing high-quality components domestically, aiming to reduce import costs and turnaround times while supporting local production and job creation under the ‘Make in India’ initiative.
