TD Power Systems (TDPS) has announced an order valued at ₹57 crore from the Nuclear Power Corporation of India (NPCIL).

The project involves supplying low-speed induction motors designed to replace high-speed imported motors with reduction gearboxes currently in use at the Kudankulam nuclear power plant. According to the company, the motors are designed to meet specific requirements, including weight constraints, seismic conditions, and the use of titanium tube heat exchangers.

Delivery, installation, and commissioning of the motors are scheduled for the financial years 2025-26 and 2026-27.
