JTL Industries Limited has announced its entry into the lattice tower manufacturing segment with the establishment of a new production facility in Derabassi, Punjab. The plant, built on a 12-acre site recently acquired by the company, will have a production capacity of 1,500 tons per month and is expected to commence operations in the second half of the 2025-26 financial year.

Lattice towers are used in multiple industries, including telecommunications, railway infrastructure, and steel building materials. The company’s new facility will support the production of these structures, which are also a component of the Indigenous Train Collision Avoidance System, known as Kavach.

According to a statement from JTL Industries, the investment in lattice tower production is part of a broader strategy to expand its portfolio of value-added products and strengthen its presence in various industrial sectors.

JTL Industries currently operates manufacturing facilities in Punjab, Maharashtra, and Chhattisgarh, with a cumulative pipe manufacturing capacity of approximately 686,000 metric tons per annum (MTPA) and an additional 300,000 MTPA dedicated to backward integration. The company’s product portfolio includes galvanized iron (GI) pipes, mild steel (MS) black pipes, hollow sections, and solar structures, catering to industrial and infrastructure applications.

The company has indicated that the expansion will help diversify its supply base and position it to capitalize on increasing investments in infrastructure and telecommunications.
