KPI Green Energy Limited has announced that its subsidiary, Sun Drops Energia Private Limited, has received Letters of Award for the development of solar power projects with a total capacity of 15.90 MWDC. The projects fall under the Captive Power Producer (CPP) segment of the company.
According to a company disclosure, the projects have been awarded by multiple domestic entities, including Mexo Fiber Pvt. Ltd., M S Rayons Pvt. Ltd., Maharaja Industries, Gautam Casting Industries Pvt. Ltd., Gautam Technocast, Shrirajlaxmi Denim, and Kartik Dyeing.
The projects are planned for execution in the financial year 2025-26 and will be developed in various phases as per the terms of the contracts. No related-party transactions are involved in these agreements, and the company has stated that its promoter group does not have any interest in the awarding entities.
The company has not disclosed the financial details of the contracts beyond the cumulative generation capacity of 15.90 MWDC.
This update follows KPI Green Energy’s ongoing initiatives in the renewable energy sector, with a focus on expanding its solar power capacity under the CPP business model.
