The United States will be represented at Aero India 2025, with over two dozen U.S. companies showcasing military aircraft, unmanned aerial systems, avionics, and defense electronics. The event will serve as a platform for industry engagement and potential collaborations between U.S. and Indian firms in the aerospace and defense sectors.
Leading the U.S. delegation is Jorgan Andrews, Chargé d’Affaires at the U.S. Embassy in New Delhi, along with officials from the U.S. Departments of State, Defense, and Commerce. High-ranking attendees include General Kevin Schneider, Commander of U.S. Pacific Air Forces, Brigadier General Patrick Teague, Senior Defense Official at the U.S. Mission in India, and Chris Hodges, Consul General at the U.S. Consulate General in Chennai.
Since the previous Aero India exhibition in 2023, the United States and India have expanded cooperation in defense, including maritime security, cybersecurity, logistics, and counter-terrorism initiatives. General Schneider emphasized the importance of showcasing defense equipment at the event to support compatibility and interoperability efforts through information sharing, liaison officers, training exercises, and defense agreements.
U.S. aircraft expected to be on display include the F-16, F-35, KC-135 Stratotanker, and B-1 bomber. The event will highlight ongoing defense trade discussions and technological advancements in aerospace.
