IRM Energy Limited has signed a five-year agreement with Shell Energy India Private Limited for the supply of Regasified Liquefied Natural Gas (RLNG). Under the agreement, IRM Energy will procure a total of 1,23,21,200 MMBtu, approximately 326.84 million standard cubic meters (mmscm) at 9500 kcal Gross Calorific Value (GCV), over the contract period.

The agreement aims to secure a stable supply of RLNG for industrial and commercial customers. The contract was signed in the presence of IRM Energy Director Badri Mahapatra.

With this partnership, we are confident in ensuring stable gas supplies that will support economic development and clean energy adoption,” said Manoj Kumar Sharma, CEO of IRM Energy.

IRM Energy states that the agreement will support its efforts to enhance its energy sourcing portfolio and meet the growing demand for natural gas in industrial and commercial sectors.

According to the company, this long-term arrangement aligns with its strategy of strengthening its supply network and ensuring reliability in its operations.
