AXISCADES Technologies Limited has appointed KP Mohanakrishnan as Deputy CEO and President – Aerospace, and D Murali Krishnan as Chief Operating Officer and President – ESAI. The appointments were approved by the company’s Board of Directors on April 9, 2025. Both roles are aimed at supporting the company’s business focus in aerospace, defence, semiconductor, and digital engineering.
According to a press release issued by the company, the appointments follow the integration of AXISCADES Aerospace & Technologies Pvt. Ltd. and Mistral Solutions Pvt. Ltd., as part of efforts to streamline operations and align with manufacturing opportunities in the aerospace and semiconductor sectors.
Mohanakrishnan brings over three decades of experience in the aerospace, defence, automotive, and engineering sectors. He has previously held leadership roles at Mahindra Aerostructures Pvt. Ltd. and Tata Advanced Materials Ltd., where he worked on strategic manufacturing relationships involving international OEMs, Tier suppliers, and public sector agencies including MoD, HAL, ISRO, and DRDO.
Commenting on his appointment, Mohanakrishnan stated, “I am deeply honoured to take on the role of Deputy CEO and President of Aerospace at such a pivotal time for AXISCADES as it transitions from a service-based to a technology-driven product company.”
Murali Krishnan assumes the position of COO while continuing as CEO of Mistral Solutions, which operates in chip-to-product engineering, defence electronics, semiconductors, and AI applications. Prior to this, he led a USD 200 million digital engineering division at Cyient Limited, overseeing more than 4,000 employees, and also served as CEO of Engineering Services at Pennar Industries.
