Adani Enterprises Ltd (AEL) reported a 26% year-on-year increase in consolidated EBITDA to INR 167.22 billion for the financial year ended March 31, 2025. Consolidated profit before tax rose 16% to INR 65.33 billion. Total revenue for the year grew by 2% to INR 1.00365 trillion. The company also recognized an exceptional pre-tax gain of INR 39.46 billion from the sale of a 13.5% stake in Adani Wilmar.

The company’s incubating businesses contributed significantly to earnings, with EBITDA from these segments rising 68% to INR 100.25 billion. Among them, the Adani New Industries Ltd (ANIL) ecosystem and Adani Airports Holdings Ltd (AAHL) saw growth in both income and operational metrics. ANIL’s EBITDA rose 108% to INR 47.76 billion, while AAHL’s EBITDA increased 43% to INR 34.80 billion.

In the data center segment, AdaniConnex completed the Noida facility with an initial capacity of 10 MW. The Hyderabad and Pune centers are under phased construction. The group reported an order book of over 210 MW across data center projects.

Adani’s airport business handled 94.4 million passengers in FY25, up from 88.6 million the previous year. Air traffic movements rose 5% to 623,800 and cargo volume increased by 8% to 1.09 million metric tons.

In the mining services segment, dispatch volumes increased 40% year-on-year to 43.3 million metric tons, while production volumes rose 45% to 47 million metric tons. The Parsa coal block became operational during the year.

Road construction activity also accelerated, with total construction increasing 3.7 times year-on-year to 2,410.1 lane-kilometers in FY25. The company is currently executing 14 road projects under various models including hybrid annuity and build-operate-transfer.

The company’s external debt increased to INR 562.69 billion at the end of FY25, compared to INR 505.24 billion in FY24. The increase was attributed to capital expenditure on infrastructure projects including airports, roads, copper and PVC plants, and the Ganga Expressway.
