Jupiter Electric Mobility (JEM), the electric vehicle division of Jupiter Wagons Limited, has entered into a memorandum of understanding with logistics company Pickkup for the deployment of 300 electric light commercial vehicles (e-LCVs) by the end of 2025. The agreement includes the rollout of JEM TEZ vehicles across Pickkup’s logistics network, supporting last- and mid-mile operations.

The partnership began with the delivery of the first batch of JEM TEZ vehicles, following pilot trials. The vehicles demonstrated a single-charge range of over 190 km, reaching up to 220 km in varied operating conditions, including intercity routes such as Delhi to Chandigarh.

“Our alliance with Pickkup is a strategic move towards achieving India’s ambitious clean mobility goals, facilitating the mass adoption of electric commercial vehicles in the logistics ecosystem. With Pickkup, we seek to transform last- and mid-mile logistics into a scalable, tech-enabled, and environmentally friendly ecosystem that fuels economic prosperity for operators while minimising carbon emissions,” said Vivek Lohia, Managing Director of Jupiter Group.

“I’m genuinely impressed with JEM Tez, it has nailed real-time challenges in this segment by offering CCS2 charging compatibility and delivering 30% more range on a single charge, all while supporting a 1050 kg payload. This creates a strong niche in the market. We’re now set to deploy these vehicles for intercity logistics, where they can run up to 250 km daily while enabling higher earnings potential, which is made possible now with JEM Tez,” stated Ankush Sharma, Co-founder and CEO of Pickkup.

Pickkup, based in Delhi, operates a 100 percent electric fleet of 3W and 4W commercial vehicles in key NCR cities and tier-2 markets like Mohali and Chandigarh. The company focuses on offering customised logistics solutions, including on-demand, corporate, and warehouse delivery services. In February 2025, Pickkup raised USD 500,000 in seed funding to expand its fleet and invest in logistics technology.

Jupiter Electric Mobility operates a manufacturing facility in Pithampur, Indore, with an annual production capacity of 8,000 to 10,000 e-LCVs and plans for phased expansion. The facility supports domestic manufacturing and aims to reduce reliance on imports.
