Oiles Corporation, a manufacturer of bearings, has announced plans to construct a second manufacturing facility for its Indian subsidiary, Oiles India Private Limited, in Neemrana, Rajasthan. The project involves an investment of approximately INR 3.3 billion (about JPY 5.5 billion) and is scheduled to begin construction in June 2025, with operations expected to start in February 2027.
The second plant will be located within the same industrial estate as the company’s existing facility. It will cover a site area of around 52,000 square meters, with a building area of about 26,000 square meters—roughly 2.8 times the size of the first plant.
According to the company, the expansion is part of its medium- to long-term growth strategy aimed at increasing production capacity and catering to demand in India’s automotive sector, including components for electric vehicles. The company aims to further strengthen its specification activities targeting non-Japanese manufacturers in the Indian market, which is expected to continue experiencing high growth.
The financial impact of the new facility on the fiscal year ending March 2026 is expected to be minimal.
Oiles Corporation, listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange Prime Market specializes in manufacturing bearing products and related components, primarily serving the automotive industry. Oiles India Private Limited was established in 2011.
