AXISCADES Technologies has secured defence electronics orders worth approximately INR 6 billion across airborne, naval and radar‑based platforms. These projects, to be executed over the next three to five years, cover development, prototyping and full‑scale production.

Awarded via the company’s defence subsidiaries through premier Indian defence laboratories and PSUs, the contracts involve designing and supplying sub‑systems for several indigenous platforms—including fighter aircraft upgrades, naval systems, and long‑range surveillance radar programmes.

Major programs under the order include the VIRUPAKSHA active electronically scanned array (AESA) radar for the Su‑30 MKI upgrade, under which AXISCADES will supply the Exciter Unit, Receiver Unit, and Antenna Beam Control Motherboard to replace the aircraft’s current Russian-origin radar. The company will also deliver transmit-receive (TR) modules for S‑band surveillance radars to enhance detection and tracking capabilities.

Additionally, digital beam-forming units will be provided for the KUSHA Long-Range Battle Management Radar (LRBMR), which has a detection range exceeding 500 km. The scope of work further includes homing receivers for electric heavyweight torpedoes, which enable autonomous target acquisition, as well as sonar subsystems for submarine platforms, for which AXISCADES has already secured a production order.

“These partnerships on critical programs reflect our core strength in high‑performance radar, sonar and signal‑processing electronics. We’re proud to contribute to indigenous platforms shaping India’s defence future. These wins highlight our integration within the ecosystem of India’s premier research and production agencies,” said C. Manikandan, CTO of AXISCADES.
