Minda Corporation, an automotive components manufacturer, has entered into a collaboration with Qualcomm Technologies to co-develop advanced cockpit domain controllers for vehicles in India. These next-generation solutions will be based on the Snapdragon Cockpit Platform, part of Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Digital Chassis suite, aimed at enhancing multimedia performance, digital interfaces, and vehicle connectivity.
According to Minda Corporation, the new cockpit systems will feature AI-based interfaces, multi-display support, and cloud connectivity. They are designed to operate on Android and QNX platforms, supporting software-defined vehicles (SDVs) with a focus on user interface responsiveness and in-vehicle experience enhancements.
