Fluid Controls Limited, a manufacturer of precision-engineered tube fittings and valves for industrial and defence applications, is planning to establish a new manufacturing facility in Karnataka with an investment of INR 900 million.
According to an official statement from Karnataka’s Industries Minister M.B. Patil, the company has applied through the Karnataka Udyog Mitra (KUM) portal to set up the plant on a five-acre site. The proposed unit is part of the state government’s efforts to attract advanced manufacturing investments through roadshows held in Pune and other industrial hubs.
Dr Tansen Chaudhari, Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director of Fluid Controls Limited, discussed the expansion plan with the minister during the Pune Road Show. The company, which supplies critical components to Bharat Earth Movers Limited (BEML), JSW Steel’s Vijayanagar plant, Boeing, and the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), aims to enhance its domestic production capabilities through the Karnataka project.
Patil stated that the government assured full support to the company and encouraged it to scale up its operations in the state, emphasising Karnataka’s commitment to enabling high-value industrial and advanced manufacturing growth.
Founded in 1974, Fluid Controls Limited designs and manufactures tube fittings, instrumentation valves, and manifolds for sectors including railways, defence, nuclear, oil and gas, and aerospace. The company operates manufacturing facilities in Pune, Maharashtra, and serves both domestic and international clients.
