Deem Roll-Tech Limited, a manufacturer of steel rolls for the domestic steel industry, has secured new orders with a combined value of INR 230.5 million, strengthening its executable order book to approximately INR 600 million. The orders are scheduled to be executed over a period ranging from six to 18 months.
The company said in a stock exchange filing that the newly received contracts were awarded by public sector steel producers in India and are aligned with customer specifications for steel roll supplies. According to the filing, the orders reflect continued demand from integrated steel plants for replacement and operational rolls.
The largest of the new orders has been awarded by Steel Authority of India Limited’s Bhilai Steel Plant, with an estimated value of INR 93.0 million, inclusive of goods and services tax. The contract covers the supply of steel rolls and is to be executed within the timeframe specified in the agreement, the company disclosed.
A second order has been received from Steel Authority of India Limited’s Bokaro Steel Plant, Bokaro Steel City, valued at approximately INR 89.1 million, including tax. As with the Bhilai contract, the Bokaro order relates to the supply of steel rolls and is classified as a domestic contract awarded by a domestic entity.
The third order has been secured from Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited’s Visakhapatnam Steel Plant, with a total estimated value of INR 52.9 million, including tax. This order also pertains to steel rolls and is to be executed as per the contractual schedule agreed between the parties.
Following the addition of these contracts, the company’s total order book stands at around INR 600 million as of 17 January 2025, providing revenue visibility for the medium term. The company indicated that the orders would be executed in phases in line with customer requirements and delivery schedules outlined in the respective agreements.
Deem Roll-Tech Limited operates manufacturing facilities in Gujarat and West Bengal and supplies steel rolls to integrated steel producers and rolling mills in India. The company is engaged in the design, manufacture and supply of rolls used across various stages of steel production.
