Patil Automation Limited, an industrial automation company based in Pune, has received a domestic purchase order valued at INR 82.5 million for the supply of automotive robotic welding systems, strengthening its order pipeline ahead of the end of the current financial year. The order is scheduled for execution on or before 31 March 2026 and adds to the company’s recent inflow of automotive manufacturing contracts.

The order covers robotic spot and metal inert gas welding fixtures with integrated panel assembly solutions for an Indian automotive customer. The company said the project would be executed within the current quarter and would contribute to near-term revenue visibility.

The order follows another automotive contract announced earlier in January for a car door trim assembly line valued at INR 66.0 million, indicating a steady flow of domestic orders during the month. The company stated that the recent contracts reflect sustained demand for robotic welding and automation solutions in the Indian automotive sector.

“We are pleased to receive this order from a leading domestic automotive customer. The project reflects continued trust in our robotic welding and automation capabilities and strengthens our order book for the coming period,” said Manoj Patil, Promoter and Managing Director of Patil Automation Limited. “We remain focused on timely execution while delivering high-quality, technology-driven solutions to our customers.”

The latest order comes amid an improvement in the company’s financial performance. For the half year ended 30 September 2025, Patil Automation reported revenue from operations of INR 710.6 million, compared with INR 596.9 million in the corresponding period a year earlier. Total income for the period stood at INR 735.5 million, while profit after tax was INR 75.3 million.

As of 30 September 2025, the company reported cash and cash equivalents of INR 484.9 million, up from INR 206.3 million at the end of March 2025. Total assets stood at INR 1,782.9 million, supported by investments in property, plant and equipment and capital work in progress related to manufacturing capacity expansion.

For the financial year ended 31 March 2025, the company reported total income of INR 1,220.4 million and a net profit of INR 117.0 million. The company continues to deploy proceeds from the public issue towards capital expenditure for a new manufacturing facility and partial repayment of borrowings, in line with stated objectives.

Patil Automation Limited is engaged in the design and manufacture of industrial automation systems, including welding lines, assembly lines, special purpose machines and material handling systems. The company serves automotive and non-automotive customers from manufacturing facilities in Pune and supplies automation solutions across multiple industrial sectors in India and overseas.
