Cooper Corporation, a manufacturer of engines, engine components, and generators, has commenced large-scale exports of gas-powered gensets to the United States and Japan. The shipments include gensets ranging from 5 kVA to 500 kVA, each approved by the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).
According to the company, its 10 kVA and 25 kVA gas gensets have received EPA certification, with the 25 kVA variant drawing interest from the American market. The company is exporting its V-Twin LPG 10 kVA gensets to Japan in partnership with Japanese firm Sinfonia.
Domestically, Cooper engines have been in use by the Indian defence forces for over ten years, including during Operation Sindoor. The company also launched a 50 HP tractor in February 2025, which has generated interest in the Indian market.
