Inox Clean Energy Limited’s subsidiary, Inox Solar Limited, has started production at its new solar module manufacturing facility in Bavla, Ahmedabad, Gujarat. The plant has commenced operations with an initial capacity of 1.2 GW in the first phase, which is part of a planned total capacity of 3 GW.

The Bavla facility, completed in four months, is fully automated and manufactures N-type TOPCon solar modules. It uses M10, G12R, and G12 solar cells and incorporates a bifacial design that enables electricity generation from both sides of the module. The company stated that these features are designed to improve efficiency and reliability.

The second phase of the Bavla project will expand the capacity to 3 GW. Alongside this, Inox Solar is setting up a 4.8 GW integrated solar cell and module manufacturing facility in Dhenkanal, Odisha.

Inox Clean Energy Limited operates in the renewable energy sector through its subsidiaries, focusing on solar module and equipment manufacturing. The company is expanding its manufacturing footprint with facilities in Gujarat and Odisha to increase production capacity.
