The company said the orders were received from domestic and overseas original equipment manufacturers and include supplies for gaskets, heat shields, forging components, chassis, hoses and anti-vibration parts. The order inflow includes business linked to conventional internal combustion engine platforms as well as electric vehicle programmes.
Talbros Automotive said it has secured orders worth approximately INR 2.5 billion in its sealing business, which includes gaskets and heat shield products. Of this, around INR 1.1 billion relates to export orders. In its forgings business, the company has received export orders valued at about INR 5.0 billion, with a significant portion coming from a newly onboarded European-based automotive component supplier.
Through its joint venture Marelli Talbros Chassis Systems, the company has secured export orders worth around INR 0.9 billion for body-in-white components. These orders are from a multinational automobile manufacturer producing luxury vehicles and sport utility vehicles and are targeted at the electric vehicle segment. Separately, Talbros Automotive said its joint venture Talbros Marugo Rubber has received domestic orders valued at approximately INR 1.7 billion for hoses and anti-vibration parts.
The company said the cumulative order book includes around INR 1.0 billion linked specifically to electric vehicle applications and about INR 7.0 billion associated with export markets. It added that the new orders are expected to improve revenue visibility over the medium term and support profitability as execution ramps up over the coming years.
Talbros Automotive stated that the export-led orders reflect a deeper presence in European automotive supply chains and demonstrate the company’s ability to meet global quality and performance requirements. The company said the orders underline the manufacturing and engineering capabilities developed across Talbros Automotive and its joint ventures.
