Gabriel India Limited has announced plans to enter the European bicycle sector, focusing on supplying suspension forks and shock absorbers for city, cargo, SUV, and mountain bikes. The company intends to target original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and bicycle retailers across Europe.

The move marks an expansion of Gabriel India’s manufacturing operations, which already serve motorcycle, car, commercial vehicle, and high-speed train segments. The company is leveraging its existing experience in producing suspension systems to support its entry into the bicycle market.

“The bicycle market has changed significantly in recent years, primarily due to the e-bike boom and the trend toward urban mobility. Our new suspension systems not only represent technical advancements but also offer a durable and sustainable solution for bicycle manufacturers and end customers,” said Andreas Wildgrube, head of the bicycle segment at Gabriel India.

Atul Jaggi, Managing Director of Gabriel India, stated, “With the continued expansion of our technologies and our growing international presence, the bicycle market, especially in Europe, is an extremely attractive market environment.”
