VVDN Technologies has inaugurated its largest surface mount technology (SMT) line and a new Mechanical Innovation Park at its Global Innovation Park in Manesar. The SMT line is designed to handle high-speed manufacturing with a capacity of 250,000 components per hour and can support printed circuit board (PCB) sizes up to 850mm x 560mm. The facility is intended for the production of large and complex electronics such as AI servers, networking equipment, and motherboards.

The Mechanical Innovation Park covers 150,000 square feet and is equipped with mold and tool-making setups, including CNC, EDM, wire cut machines, and modern injection molding systems. The facility is structured to support an integrated design-to-manufacturing workflow for mechanical components.

VVDN stated that the new facilities are part of its strategy to increase localization and achieve greater backward integration in its operations. The expansion is expected to add over 3,000 skilled jobs across design, engineering, and manufacturing functions.

The company currently operates seven manufacturing plants in India and has 11 R&D centers staffed by approximately 5,000 engineers. VVDN manufactures a range of products, including servers, laptops, electric vehicle components, cameras, and networking devices.
