Camfil India has launched a new manufacturing facility in Manesar, aimed at increasing the production of air filtration solutions for various industries. The facility will produce high-efficiency filters for Air Handling Units (AHUs) and Megalam minipleated HEPA filters, catering to sectors such as pharmaceuticals, healthcare, and micro-electronics.
The company stated that the Manesar facility will serve as a local sourcing base, enhancing the effectiveness of Camfil’s global supply chain. The plant’s production processes align with the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) under IS 17570:2021 and ISO 16890:2016, according to the company.
Camfil also emphasized the facility’s focus on energy efficiency and sustainability. It will manufacture Hi-Flo filters designed to deliver energy savings and environmental benefits.
Mark Simmons, CEO of Camfil Group, described the facility’s launch as part of the company’s strategy to expand local manufacturing and adopt advanced technologies. Rahul Kapoor, Managing Director of Camfil India, highlighted the facility’s role in producing air filtration solutions that meet market and energy efficiency standards.
