Sona BLW Precision Forgings Limited (SBPFL) has inaugurated a new manufacturing facility in Manesar, Haryana, marking its third plant in India and seventh globally. This facility, which began operations on October 21, 2024, is focused on driveline products and is expected to increase the company’s production capacity by 30%.

According to a press release issued by SBPFL, the company plans to invest INR 1,000 million in the plant over the next two to three years. The expansion is projected to generate 300 new jobs. SBPFL’s expansion aligns with its strategy to increase production and serve both domestic and international clients.

The company supplies key automotive manufacturers, including Maruti Suzuki, Tata Motors, Mahindra & Mahindra, as well as international firms such as John Deere and American Axle. SBPFL specializes in the production of warm-forged bevel gears, among other products.
