TS TECH Co., Ltd. will establish a joint venture company in India with Krishna Management Services LLP, aiming to strengthen its manufacturing and product development capabilities in the country. The new entity, KRISHNA TS TECH Auto. Pvt., Ltd., will focus on designing, developing, and manufacturing automotive components, including car seats.
The joint venture will be headquartered in Gurgaon, Haryana, and is scheduled to be established in May 2025, with operations expected to begin in June 2025. The capital for the venture is set at INR 90 million, approximately JPY 150 million. Ownership will be equally divided between TS TECH and Krishna, with each holding a 50 percent stake.
According to a press release issued by TS TECH, the collaboration is part of the company’s broader strategy to expand its business in new markets under its 15th Medium-Term Management Plan. The Indian automobile market is anticipated to continue growing, and the joint venture is intended to position TS TECH to respond more rapidly to local demand.
KRISHNA TS TECH Auto. Pvt., Ltd. will engage in both contract development with TS TECH and independent business with other clients. The joint venture plans to target new orders and commercial rights from Indian automobile manufacturers beyond existing customers.
Arti Kapur will serve as the representative director of the new company. Some officers and employees from TS TECH will be dispatched to the joint venture. While the financial impact on TS TECH’s FY2026 results is expected to be negligible, the company anticipates a contribution to its consolidated earnings in the medium to long term.
