Syrma SGS Technology Limited has announced the opening of a large electronics manufacturing facility in Ranjangaon, near Pune. The new campus, covering 26.5 acres with a planned production area of 1.20 million square feet, aims to increase the company’s printed circuit board assembly (PCBA) production capacity, primarily for industrial and automotive sectors in India.

The facility, which began operations with an initial 60,000-square-foot phase, is expected to generate approximately 1,000 direct jobs. Key company leaders, including Executive Chairman Sandeep Tandon, were present at the formal opening of the facility, which is designed to support the growing domestic demand for electronics manufacturing.

According to J S Gujral, managing director of Syrma SGS, the new facility is aligned with the company’s goals of expanding capacity and enhancing skills to meet evolving market needs. The campus will serve a range of industries and clients both domestically and internationally, providing services that span product design, prototyping, PCB assembly, box builds, and custom end-to-end solutions.
