Kirby Building Systems India has expanded its production capacity at the Halol facility in Gujarat, doubling its pre-engineered steel building (PEB) output at the site to 100,000 metric tons (MT) per year. This addition brings Kirby India’s total installed capacity to 300,000 MT annually, when combined with its facilities in Hyderabad and Haridwar, each with a 100,000 MT annual capacity. The Halol facility originally opened in February 2023.

The expanded plant includes advanced fabrication technologies, such as CNC laser and plasma cutting, CNC drilling, and CNC-controlled laser-guided welding machines. The company reports that the Halol facility is the first PEB plant to obtain a platinum-rated green building certification, reflecting efforts toward sustainable construction practices in its PEB technology.

Kirby Building Systems serves over 10,000 customers and continues to develop advanced methods for precision-engineered steel structures. According to the company’s press release, this expansion is part of its commitment to sustainability and innovation within the construction industry.
