Road construction equipment manufacturer Ammann has inaugurated a new manufacturing facility for track pavers in Mehsana district, Gujarat. The company has invested INR 100 million in the facility, which is expected to produce 100 units of track and wheel pavers annually.

The expansion follows Ammann’s acquisition of ABG in the previous year. According to the company, the integration of German engineering technology at the facility aims to enhance production efficiency and technological capabilities.

Ammann India stated that the investment has been directed toward modernizing manufacturing infrastructure, incorporating automation, implementing sustainability initiatives, and upskilling the workforce.

“India has emerged as a key market for Ammann, and this expansion underscores our long-term commitment to the region. With its growing infrastructure needs and demand for advanced road construction solutions, India plays a crucial role in our global strategy,” said Hans-Christian Schneider, CEO of Ammann Group.

Dheeraj Panda, Managing Director at Ammann India, stated that the new facility will contribute to the production of equipment for both domestic and international markets.
