Simem, a manufacturer of concrete batching plants, has announced that its new factory in Vadodara, Gujarat, is now fully operational and has begun producing concrete batching plants. The facility, which adds to the company’s existing operations in India, is positioned to expand capacity for both domestic and international markets.
The company established its operations in Vadodara in 2008 and has since expanded to increase production. It manufactures a broad range of equipment including concrete batching plants, mixing systems such as the Eagle and Jumper series, precast automation solutions, shotcrete and paste fill plants, and water recycling and waste treatment systems.
According to the company, India remains its only major manufacturing hub outside Italy and is set to become an important export base. The Vadodara site is also designated as a centre for customised solutions, catering to large-scale infrastructure projects in areas such as roads, dams, tunnels, and mining.
The company is also expanding its dealer and service network in India to strengthen sales and after-market support, in line with anticipated infrastructure growth.
Simem, headquartered in Italy, designs and manufactures concrete batching plants and related equipment. Its Indian operations serve as a strategic hub for production, exports, and technology development, with a focus on both standard and customised solutions for global construction markets.
