Daiki-Axis India has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to set up its third manufacturing facility in Karnataka’s Japanese Industrial Township. The expansion involves an investment of over ₹100 crore.
The new facility will focus on the production of decentralized packaged sewage treatment plants (STPs) utilizing Johkasou technology. The company aims to enhance its wastewater treatment solutions in the Indian market through this expansion.
The announcement was made during the Global Invest Meet Karnataka 2025, where company representatives discussed the initiative. The move is part of Daiki-Axis India’s broader growth strategy in the country.
The investment is expected to contribute to wastewater management infrastructure and expand the company’s presence in India.
Daiki-Axis India operates as part of Daiki-Axis Japan, a division of Daiki Japan, a $400 million company founded in 1958 and listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange. The company specializes in decentralized sewage treatment plants (STPs) and has a global presence with manufacturing facilities in Japan and overseas, including India. Daiki-Axis focuses on water conservation and environmental sustainability, aiming to develop infrastructure that supports both human and ecological well-being.
