Noida-based electric vehicle and energy storage company Inverted has announced plans to establish a 5GWh fully automated production plant in Ghilot, Rajasthan. The company has allocated Rs 100 crore for the development of the facility, which will cover four acres.
The plant will incorporate advanced robotics and AI-driven automation systems for the production of battery solutions tailored for four-wheelers, light commercial vehicles, and battery energy storage systems. Construction is scheduled to begin in December 2025, with operations expected to commence by April 2026.
According to Inverted, the location in Ghilot was selected due to its connectivity, availability of a skilled workforce, and supportive industrial ecosystem. The facility is expected to support both domestic and international markets.
“This facility will enhance our production capabilities,” said Raghav Jain, CEO of Inverted.
The company stated that the project is expected to generate employment opportunities in the region.
Inverted, founded in 2017 by a group of IIT engineers, has grown to become one of India’s prominent lithium battery companies. The team comprises engineers, scientists, and energy researchers dedicated to advancing the energy storage sector.
