TMWB Foam Private Limited, a joint venture between Woodbridge and TM Automotive Seating Systems, has inaugurated a new manufacturing facility in Pune, Maharashtra, India. The plant, covering 45,413 square feet (4,219 square meters), will produce molded foam, interior components, and vacuum-formed parts for commercial and passenger vehicle manufacturers as well as the bus industry.
The facility employs approximately 80 workers and is expected to expand technical capabilities and workforce skills while supplying seating systems to original equipment manufacturers in the region.
Woodbridge currently operates two other facilities in India: a molded foam manufacturing plant in Sanand and an Information Technology Center in Pune. The company’s Sanand plant focuses on foam solutions for various industries, while the Pune IT Center provides technological support.
TMWB Foam Private Limited was established in December 2023 as part of Woodbridge and TM Automotive Seating Systems’ strategy to expand their presence in the Indian market.
