Yanmar, a Japanese machinery manufacturing company, has consolidated its operational requirements for South India with a new facility spanning approximately 2.45 lakh square feet. The facility, developed in collaboration with Welspun One, is designed to support industrial operations and includes sustainability features such as rainwater harvesting, solar panels, and greenbelt development to reduce environmental impact.

Welspun One, which was responsible for the development, stated that the project aligns with its focus on providing infrastructure for the manufacturing sector. Yanmar, a Japan-based company specializing in industrial equipment and machinery, aims to enhance its operational capacity in the region through this expansion.

Founded in 1912 in Osaka, Japan, Yanmar specializes in diesel engine technology and industrial equipment, including engines, agricultural and construction machinery, energy systems, marine equipment, and machine tools. The company operates across seven business domains globally.
