Daifuku Intralogistics has announced plans to open a new manufacturing facility in India. The investment aims to expand local production of warehouse automation systems, including Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems (ASRS), and material handling solutions.
According to the company, the facility is expected to support Indian industries by reducing lead times and offering localized automation solutions. The initiative aligns with the increasing demand for automated intralogistics systems in the country.
Daifuku stated that the new facility would enable the company to provide products at competitive pricing while catering to specific requirements of Indian businesses.
