Belrise Industries has acquired H-One India, the Indian subsidiary of Japan-based H-One Co., in a move aimed at expanding its automotive manufacturing operations in India. The acquisition includes two manufacturing facilities located in North India and is expected to enhance Belrise’s production capacity and supply chain efficiency.
H-One India is involved in the design and manufacturing of high-tensile steel components and tooling for two-wheeler and four-wheeler vehicles. These components are commonly used to reduce vehicle weight and improve safety and fuel efficiency. Belrise stated that the acquisition would allow it to integrate H-One India’s technological capabilities and broaden its product offering.
The deal value was not disclosed. Belrise indicated that the acquisition would enable it to expand its customer base, which includes Indian and Japanese original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), and diversify its offerings for existing clients.
“Through this acquisition, we aim to enhance our production capacity and logistical efficiency by leveraging H-One India’s infrastructure and capabilities,” the company said in a statement.
X-B4 Advisory and Desai & Diwanji served as advisors to Belrise for the transaction.
In a separate development, Belrise Industries received approval from the Securities and Exchange Board of India in March to raise INR 21.5 billion through an initial public offering. The company had submitted preliminary IPO documents in November 2024, and regulatory observations were issued between February 25 and 28, 2025.
