Bolt.Earth, an electric vehicle (EV) charging solutions provider, has opened a 13,000 square foot integrated testing and warehousing facility in Bengaluru. The new site consolidates research and development, testing, warehousing, and final assembly for its electric vehicle (EV) charging products.
According to the company, the facility will handle assembly for its complete hardware range. This includes Blaze DC chargers for two-wheelers (3 kW to 10 kW), Blaze AC chargers for four-wheelers (7.4 kW, 11 kW, and 22 kW), and 3.3 kW compact charging sockets (Pro, Lite, and Levac variants). Additionally, Level 3 DC fast chargers between 30 kW and 240 kW, intended for commercial and fleet use, will also be assembled at the facility.
“This facility serves as our central assembly facility for Bolt.Earth’s entire hardware portfolio,” said CEO Raghav Bharadwaj. He added that centralizing these operations allows for tighter control and faster throughput.
The facility includes a high-efficiency warehouse to manage raw materials, components, and finished products, with the aim of streamlining inventory and dispatch processes across Bolt.Earth’s deployment network. The on-site R&D wing brings together engineering, design, and prototyping teams to develop future EV charging solutions.
Vijay N Pannalkar, Director – Supply Chain Management, stated: “We’ve built a system where collaboration drives consistency. By maintaining end-to-end control—from inventory to testing and final assembly—we ensure every product that leaves our line reflects the reliability and performance our customers expect.”
The facility also features a validation pipeline involving simulations, stress testing, and compliance checks before products are dispatched. Bolt.Earth has announced plans to install an on-site EV charging station using its Blaze DC units as part of its broader fast-charging expansion.
As of now, Bolt.Earth reports operating over 37,000 charging points across more than 1,700 cities, serving approximately 224,000 active EV users.
