Endurance Technologies Limited, manufacturer of automotive components, will invest approximately INR 473 million to establish a new greenfield manufacturing facility for lithium-ion battery packs in Mindewadi, Taluka Maval, Pune district, Maharashtra. The plant will produce battery packs for mobility and energy storage applications, with an initial production capacity of around 35,000 packs per month to be implemented in phases starting in the fourth quarter of FY 2025–26. The commercial launch is scheduled for January 2026.

The company stated that the entire investment will be financed through internal accruals. The new product line will cater exclusively to the domestic market.

The battery packs will be a new addition to Endurance Technologies’ portfolio and are intended to address growing demand in the mobility and energy storage sectors. The development also aligns with the company’s broader strategy alongside its subsidiary, Maxwell Energy Systems Pvt. Ltd., which currently designs and supplies battery management systems.
