IndoCool Composites Private Limited has inaugurated a new manufacturing facility in Chakan, Pune, Maharashtra. The expansion is intended to enhance the company’s production capacity and support its operations in fibre-reinforced plastic (FRP) components.

This addition expands the company’s capabilities in manufacturing FRP products using vacuum infusion, light resin transfer molding (LRTM), pultrusion, and hand lay-up techniques. These processes are used to produce components for sectors such as wind energy, automotive, railways, marine, and petrochemical industries.

The company reports an annual production capacity of 10,000 metric tons across its facilities, which include two units in Ranipet, Tamil Nadu. IndoCool exports its products to multiple countries and employs over 260 personnel.

The Chakan industrial area, where the new facility is located, is a manufacturing hub that supports industries in automobiles, auto components, and fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), and offers logistical connectivity to major transport infrastructure.

Representatives from companies including Adani Wind, Envision Energy India Private Limited, and Senvion India attended the opening.
