Gabriel India Limited, a manufacturer of ride control products, has acquired assets from Marelli Motherson Auto Suspension Parts Private Limited (MMAS), a 50:50 joint venture between Marelli Europe S.p.A. and Samvardhana Motherson International Limited. The acquisition adds an annual production capacity of 3.2 million shock absorbers and 1 million gas spring units, aimed at expanding Gabriel India’s manufacturing capabilities and market presence.

The deal includes a licensing agreement for access to suspension technologies. According to the company, this will support its technological capabilities in the ride control products market.

Gabriel India Limited is part of the ANAND Group and manufactures ride control products, including shock absorbers, struts, and front forks for two- and four-wheelers. The company serves both domestic and international markets and operates multiple manufacturing facilities across India.
