Optiemus Electronics Ltd. has entered into an agreement with Taiwan-based ASRock Inc. to manufacture ASRock’s enterprise and gaming desktop motherboards in India. Manufacturing began in April 2025, and the products are expected to be available in the domestic market from May 2025.

The partnership aims to cater to domestic demand while expanding Optiemus Electronics’ product portfolio in the IT hardware segment. According to the company, the initiative will involve large printed circuit board assembly, including Ball Grid Array (BGA), fine pitch assembly, and precision placement for small components, suitable for manufacturing AI-enabled motherboards used in telecom, desktops, and laptops. The facilities feature automated manufacturing processes and nitrogen reflow systems to optimize soldering and reliability.

“We are elated to partner with ASRock, which aligns perfectly with our vision of enabling cutting-edge manufacturing capabilities in India,” said Ashok Gupta, Executive Chairman of Optiemus Group. “This announcement brings forward our enhanced capabilities of handling highly complex large Printed Circuit Board assembly, including BGA, fine pitch assembly and the ability to deliver precision placement for very small capacitors and resistors, an important consideration for manufacturing complex AI motherboards for telecom industry, high-end desktops and AI powered laptops,” he added.

The companies also stated plans to expand their product portfolio in India and indicated that the partnership will create employment and training opportunities in high-tech manufacturing.

Optiemus Electronics Limited is engaged in electronics manufacturing and offers end-to-end solutions including manufacturing, supply chain management, and refurbishment services. It operates two manufacturing facilities in Noida, Uttar Pradesh.

ASRock Inc., established in 2002 and headquartered in Taipei, Taiwan, specializes in motherboard design and production and operates in multiple international markets including Europe and the United States.
